There are checkpoints in Israel that are conveniently left out of the media narrative. Checkpoints that children and families’ lives depend on. Checkpoints where Jewish children living amongst Arab’s in predominantly Arab neighborhoods must be escorted to school, and adults must be escorted to work by armed guards and armored vehicles. In these forgotten checkpoints, families are afraid to leave their homes in fear for their lives simply because they are Jewish and living in the “wrong” neighborhood.
